Leggings for Every Shape and Plus Sized Women

Plus sized women are the most afraid to try on leggings, mainly because they are afraid that it will only accentuate the weight. Leggings cling tight to the body, showing every curve you have, so they can be tricky to wear. However, there are some ways that plus-sized women can feel fashionable and comfortable with Danskin leggings. There are a lot of Danskin plus size leggings available in the market today.

They are especially made to fit women with a bigger, curvier figure. Plus size leggings complement women who have more to offer. Cotton leggings for plus size women are great because they are comfortable, breathable, and go well with a variety of outfits. Style-wise, plus size women can complement their body shape with leggings. Show off your curves with a tunic top paired with Danskin black leggings.

Black, as we all know, makes you look slim. It's all about deflecting light. Avoid showy colors, as they absorb light. The rule of thumb, if you weigh a little more than average, is to stick to dark solid colors. You can jazz up the outfit with simple pops of color.

When choosing your tunic top, make sure that you don't choose something too tent like, as it will only make you seem bigger. Choose something that fits well, preferably with a v-neck, as it elongates the neck. Choose leggings that are footless and full length, as this will make your legs seem slimmer and longer.

A look to avoid is too much layering. A popular look nowadays is layering either short shorts or a mini skirt with leggings. This is a major no -no for plus sized women as it adds bulk to your frame, making you seem bigger.

A better option would be to layer a jersey dress over a pair of dark, knee length or full length tights. For full figured women, it's best to opt for these two lengths, as something too short will only cut you off at the wrong places, and a pair that's mid-calf in length will make your legs look stubby and short. High heeled boots or stilettos are best for the jersey dress as it is casual yet dressy.

Meanwhile, for women who are on the petite side, a pair of the wrong kind of leggings might make your legs too short. However, on a more positive note, you will have no problem when it comes to your legs looking too big. Layering a pair of mid-thigh leggings with very short shorts will create a great, modern look that will complement and elongate your legs.

It's also very casual and best for everyday use, great with simple tees. You can also wear your Danskin leggings with a very short dress or long top with some texture, as you want to add a little more bulk to your frame. Make sure though that they fall right below your hips - not shorter or longer. This creates a sleeker silhouette.
